Staying The Course….

“It takes both Rain and Sunshine, to make a Rainbow”

Life is never filled with only good things, anyway it hasn’t been for me, there will always be the down times as well.  Times that we go through struggles, times that seem like nothing good is going to happen to us and times when it seems so bad, there is nothing to live for.  I can truly say that by the Grace of God, I have made it through those dark times.  Those are the days of Rain…..

Then there are the days of Sunshine……   A Warm loving support network of Family and Friends.   The Lord watching out for me and showing me that misfortune’s can turn into great opportunities.  He has given me a roof over my head and food on the table.  Blessed with 2 wonderful sons, a beautiful grandson and most recently my dream job.  My tribe is growing and I am making some wonderful new friends, that will lead to new, great memories and sunshine.

The Galahs on the Fence…

Through the many trials of life, I have continued to laugh at myself and the world around me and kept the smiles coming.  Yes this road less traveled has it’s share of  bumps and holes, but I wouldn’t change it for anything, it has made me who I am.  I know there are still rainy times ahead, but I am here, I am now.  Things are good,  standing here in the sunshine of the Rainbow of Life.  Thank You Jesus!

Thank you Tracie Louise Photography for the beautiful photography you have blessed me with.

The Traveler

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
and that has made all the difference.
